Betsy likes to make pictures, messes, books and things. She grew up where the sidewalk ends, with her brothers, her dogs, her pictures and the sky to keep her company.

After obtaining her BFA in Photography from the Massachusetts College of Art & Design, Betsy eventually migrated to New York City, where the streets unfolded like a map before her.

She earned her Masters in Art Education from the School of Visual Arts and teaches Studio Art and Photoshop.

Betsy has recently traded buildings for trees and the ocean for mountains and lives in Vermont.
